Video Trends
Video Trends is an analytics section in Datamusic, giving an overview of YouTube performance and empowering our artists and labels to better leverage and take action on video insights.
Video Trends focuses on YouTube Official Content posted via Believe's CMS, and offers different visualizations.
You may choose different observation periods in the top right hand corner of the page to dynamically adjust data used in each visualization except "trending videos", which always focuses on the past 7 days.
Global Views
This chart allows to follow the evolution of your catalog's daily video views on YouTube over time.
Data is summarized at the top right hand corner of the chart with the aggregate number of views over the selected period, and its variation versus the previous period. For instance, if the observation period is the past 28 days, the previous period will be made up of the 28 days prior to the observation period.
Trending videos
Based on a unique algorithm developed by Believe, the Trending Videos widget helps you pinpoint territories where your content has the most potential.
Videos in your catalog are considered "trending up" in a given territory when they enjoy a strong growth in daily views over the past 7 days. Similarly, videos that have been showing a strong drop are "trending down".
Green/Red arrows denote the intensity of the trend (moderate / strong / very strong growth or drop respectively), and the country where your trending video is the most popular right now is highlighted. You may click on "see more" to discover more territories where your videos are trending (up to 50), sorted from highest to lowest potential.
