Misplaced release due to wrong artist name
First of all, please check if your artist was credited with the correct spelling. Please note that any spelling differences may cause your release to be directed to the wrong artist page (or for the Stores to create a new artist page for this release).
Misplaced release due to wrong artist ID
If your artist's ID was incorrectly indicated in the Backstage during release creation, the release may have been sent to the wrong artist page, or a new page may have been created for your artist.
Please, remember that you can add, check and modify your Apple and Spotify artist ID when you create a new release in Backstage (see below the highlighted lines in yellow):
If your release was misplaced due to wrong artist name and/or wrong artist ID, you may submit a request to our Support team. Please make sure to include the following:
- Your client number
- Your release’s name
- Your artist's name
- Your release’s UPC
- The correct Spotify/Apple Artist ID
- A quick explanation of your issue (wrong artist name and/or artist ID)
We will make sure your information is corrected in the Believe database and relay your request to Spotify and/or Apple Music to get your release back on the correct artist page as soon as possible.
