Opt into Premium Music Video on your Facebook artists' Pages
Premium Music Video is a service launched on Facebook in the Watch tab.
Music videos are published in the Videos section of artist Pages. Video content is available full length only in the US, Mexico and Brazil. 30 seconds clips are available in other territories, where Music is available.
Facebook need approval to publish PMVs to an artist’s Page. Once approved, the artist's full music video catalog is published to the Music Videos section within the Videos tab on their Page. You must be a Page Admin to grant approval. If you or anyone else on your team has an Admin role on an artist's Page, you'll have the ability to edit PMV post text as well as other metadata.
Catalog videos are not published to the artist's Page timeline, but new posts are automatically generated on their Page timeline for new releases.
Anyone with an Admin role on an artist Page is prompted to opt in to publishing PMVs on that Page. Page Admins receive an email, a banner on the artist's Page (visible only to you), and a profile notification that direct you to the PMV opt-in flow in Page Settings.
If you and/or your artist(s) take no action, those PMVs live on a separate official music Page titled “[Artist Name] • Official Music,” created by Facebook. Those PMVs will still be available to Facebook users via the Watch tab and via Facebook's new PMV destination. However, those PMVs most likely will not achieve the same level of reach because they won’t be distributed directly to your artists' Page followers.
