Provide tracks' lyrics to the Stores

Store accepting lyrics delivery from Believe:
Apple Music, Deezer, Amazon Music…

Believe is delivering lyrics directly to several stores, such as Apple, Anghami, JioSaavn… And some other through our specialized partner Lyricfind (we deliver Lyricfind, which in turn deliver stores it has partnerships with): Amazon, Deezer, Google, UMA etc.

You may provide your lyrics to these stores very easily during the release upload process in your Backstage.

1. Copy paste your lyrics at a track level.
2. Follow the Guidelines to make lyrics compliant in Backstage.

We encourage you to including lyrics in your track information when you submit a release, as it presents major advantages:

• Lyrics enrich the fans experience. We've been able to observe that the presence of Lyrics leads to increased fan-engagement, thus leading to repeated streams and better exposure for the music on the service.
• If not delivered to them directly, most major stores will use a third party to add lyrics to the release.This may generate discrepancies, either because some lyrics providers are not 100% reliable or because later updates won’t be considered. This is especially true for Apple, where the only way to ensure the correct versions of the lyrics will be displayed by Apple properly (and will not be modified by Apple later), is to include lyrics in the very first delivery of the release.

Other stores not ingesting lyrics from Believe :
Spotify, Instagram, Yandex…

Some stores, including Spotify, Instagram/Facebook, Yandex and Zvooq, are not receiving lyrics from Believe. Instead, they have a partnership with Musixmatch.

To provide the lyrics to these platforms, the rights-holder of the lyrics should sign up for Musixmatch Verified Artist.  After this first step, the process to be followed will depend on whether it is a new release or an existing track. Time-sync lyrics on Apple Music

If you want to upload time-synchronized lyrics for everyone to see, you need to format the lyrics in the correct format with timecodes when creating the release.
