Delete a release
Depending on the release's status, we won't be able to remove it completely from our database.
Your release has already been delivered to the platforms
To take down your release from the Digital Music Services, please send an e-mail to your Label Manager specifying the following:
- The UPC of the release(s) you want to takedown
- The stores on which you want your release(s) to be taken down.
- Why you want to take it down
Once Believe confirmed to have sent your takedown, please expect 2 to 5 business days for your releases to be removed from the stores.
Also note that your releases will be not removed at the same time from all stores. Each store takes a different amount of time to perform takedowns, according to their own capability to deal with the takedown requests they are addressed.
Your release has already been submitted to us but wasn't delivered to the platforms yet
You may ask the Support team to delete it for you. See also "how to format your requests to the Support team".
Your release is still a draft in your Backstage
You may delete it by going to "Catalog / Drafts" and clicking on the trash can icon at the right of your release.
