There is no API in place for the transfer of financial data.
Financial reports are the source of unique and reliable information.
In Backstage, you can read or create financial reports from the section Financial>Financial Reports. Reporting history goes back to the year 2021.
To better understand the information contained in your financial reports, here is a list of the different information you can find:
This month corresponds to the date on which the report was imported into the Backstage.
The platforms provide us either monthly or quarterly sales updates, and there is often a one month delay between the reporting date and the date on which the streaming/download took place. The reporting month corresponds to the month during which the platform transmitted the royalties data to us.
Month during which the download or the stream actually happened.
This information is given to us by the platforms. If you wish to search for a download or stream executed during a specific period, the operation date is the most suitable.
For example, for a stream made in 10/2017 you may see a reporting date on 12/2017. This means that the stream took place in October, but was communicated to us in December.
There may therefore be a time difference between the date of the streams made and the date on which these streams are reported to us. This is why it is not advisable to use your Daily Statistics to estimate the royalties that you receive for a given period.
Platform on which the content was uploaded.
Many platforms are divided by geographical areas.
The country in which the download or stream took place. This information is provided by the platforms. If the information is not available, “World” is applied by default

If your account includes physical sales, you can find it in the “Sales type” column as well.
Streaming subscription type
This column concerns streaming services – specification of the platform’s subscription offer. The revenue generated for the same product may vary depending on the subscription type (premium...)
It reflects the number of streams or downloads done during the selected period.
